Repairing Window Screens
The most common issues with screens are holes in the screen fabric and maybe even a broken frame connector(corner). In this case it’s no big deal because we can just replace the connector when we re-screen…replace the screen material. Usually we will have to remove the screen material to replace any parts that may be damaged anyway. The screen material most commonly used today is the charcoal-colored vinyl coated fiberglass mesh. Different brands will have various sized mesh but in general we use this standard fiberglass screen material unless otherwise instructed by client.
